A Knickerbocker was a derogatory term to describe Dutch immigrant bums who wore funny clothes.

How can the NY Knicks be allowed to use such hateful speech? I'm outraged, as a person of Dutch ancestry.

"viking"as a team name is an exclusionary term and non "inclusive" and advocates discrimination and segregation due to white bigotry and ignorance.
The owners of the team purposely chose a hateful name so they could flaunt their racism to the world while they continue to exploit the poor black players they force to play.

The "black" community should immediately rise up and demand the team name be changed and the ownership should be passed on to eric holder....
