You have a very loose definition of "transitory".
Let us know when the Fed DOES cut rates.

Your link doesn't support your assertion. Not to bitch here at all, as I'm curious. But in theory anyway a moderator should shut down your thread unless you edit the op and insert a link at to recent core PCE

So what
when core PCE comes in at 0.1% MoM, you have nothing to cry about at all anymore

Trump's mega massive out of control spending and fake money printing has really hurt America and set the stage for the inflation we had.

DeSantis can admit it, you can't

Inflation is cumulative .. so the effects are already in place. You should be disappointed with the Biden administration on the inflation front.

Unless deflation occurs, which it won't, all Americans already feel the effects of the Bidenflation.

Well, the OP is right that core pce (excluding gas and food) is only up .1%, but overall pce is still at .4

But ya know, interest rates today are about where they were during the econ expansion of the WJC years, and where the Fed put it in between the two econ downturns that (together with elective wars) bracketed W's two terms.

Lower rates at the simpliest just means the fed is making it easier to borrow money, and the fed makes sure banks have sufficient "liquidity," eg money, to lend. We have inflation simply because there's too much M2 or money in circulation. There are two AND ONLY TWO ways to get money out the economy. 1) Raise taxes and use the revenue to cut deficits/debt. 2. Prevent banks from lending as much money by raising rates, and as people pay off loans .... have the Fed make the money go "poof."

And monetary expansion began when bonds collapsed in the housing debacle.
