Actually I think it's shame that we've got health care professionals knocking down hundreds of millions of dollars off of sick people while most of the rest of civilized countries out strip our asses in nearly every category....typical "big business" activity. A citizen of the United States of America should be guaranteed excellent health care whether they are able to pay for it or not! If an individual citizen can't be guaranteed their health what's next?

Kinda interesting that big business has entered education, our prisons and anything else where they can make a profit from the normal needs of all citizens. They should be taken out of the picture and our tax dollars should go directly to the activity....not to the rich assholes who don't care how they make their millions.

Is there a way to reduce the cost of, say, coronary bypass surgery, which currently runs between $75,000 and $150,000? I don't know.

But the costs of drugs are obscenely inflated, and that's something that could be worked on...if it weren't for Big Pharma lobbyists...
