Moore Refuses to Concede

Absentee and military votes are already counted. Provisional ballots almost always break for the Democrats. So ain't no way Moore can make up the difference.

Do you have a link for that. Not being argumentative, But I thought Military ballots are to be post marked by the day of the election. If so, they could not yet be counted

Military absentee ballots can be postmarked up until election day, and must be received by the 7th day after the election.

But unless there are enough absentee ballots to make up the difference, they won't be counted at all.

I don't have an issue if he wants to wait for final totals. I don't expect the outcome to change

There could be a change, unlikely as it may seem. I would assume that a large military vote, although probably not large enough for a straight out victory, could get this thing to the mandatory automatic recall level.

Military and absentee votes are to be postmarked by election day, so likely not yet counted and Military historically vote Republican.

Do you think there are more than 20,000 Alabama citizens in the military and overseas right now?

BREAKING: :)

Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore (R) refused to concede the special election Tuesday night after multiple media outlets called the race in favor of his Democratic opponent, Doug Jones.

“At this point, we do not have a final decision on the outcome tonight,” Moore’s campaign chairman Bill Armistead told supporters.

“When the vote is this close, it is not over,” Moore said. :-D

Alabama state law requires an automatic recount when election results are within 0.5 percent.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Jones holds 49.9 percent of the vote, compared to Moore’s 48.4 percent, a 1.5 percent gap, according to The New York Times.

I hope he NEVER concedes, purely for the comedic value of the commie meltdown.

The only thing that could cause a more glorious meltdown would be Trump pardoning Flynn, Manafort, and all others alleged to have "colluded" with Russians.

Why would anyone "melt down" if he refuses to concede?

It's not up to him. He still lost, even if he won't admit it.

Don't know, but it's not only Military, it's all absentee ballots.

It's not all absentee ballots - regular absentee ballots have to received by 5pm on election day. Only military voters get an extra week.

It appears there are 8,000 active military

A few haven't been counted. Not enough to matter. One source I saw said there were about 1500 such "in-the-mail" ballots still uncounted.

Also, being how the military is younger and less white than Alabama in general, the military vote won't get the 70% support for Moore that Moore got from whites in general.

Then there's the provisional votes, which will skew Democratic, given the usual Republican tactics of making it hard for minorities to vote. So, a recount will most likely bring more Jones votes.

Moore is not only a despicable human being, he is a poor loser. Moore has no reason to get a recount.
Neither did Hillary or Gore.

Assholes never give up
Both Gore and Clinton won more votes than did 'W' or the treasonous fat senile old orange clown.

No, Prince Albert didn’t. And you republicans, creepy Moore lost. Bannon should have backed a better horse. The guy who won is not but a place holder until the next election anyway. This is only a big deal In yalls heads because the news told you it was.

Dude. You must be younger than 30. You don't remember Bush v. Gore, do you?

Oh, I do remember Bush v. Gore.

Do you think that if Gore had refused to concede after the court decision, that somehow Bush wouldn't have been allowed to take office?

Moore is a sore loser.

It's time for him to go home and die now.

Do you remember the meltdown?

I remember Republicans melting down over elections for multiple reasons. Which are you referring to? Given how often Republicans melt down, you'll have to be much more specific. The common factor, of course, is how it's always the Republicans having the meltdowns.

For example, Bush vs. Gore. Gore had more legal votes in Florida, by any counting standard. Bush sued to stop those legal votes from being counted, using chads as an excuse, and won. Republicans melted down. Worst sore winners in history. I mean, you cheated, you won, get over it already.

That is sooooo ironic, Old Fuck....and on so many levels....shall I count the ways? (snicker)
Dont count the ways. Count the votes then let Moore know he lost officially.

The Hildebeast using a proxy "green" candidate declared that a recount in states like Michigan and Wisconsin needed to be done.....how did that work out? Trump actually picked up more votes. My advice is to pick country over party. I despise the neocons as much as I do the fabian socialist left.

Your use of "fabian socialist left" reminds me of someone who posted here in the past, and left not of their own volition. Are you a sock?
