Nowadays it's all explosions and silly visual effects from 12 different angles. But once upon a time cinematic quality was measured by truly professional acting and directing.

 
I'll watch it later, looks like a whole movie. There are still well done movies these days but a bit rare due to the reliance on technology.

I saw one yesterday, The Machinist, done in '04 with Christian Bale. Jesus the guy got skinny for it. I mean literally concentration camp skinny. Great acting but damn, that's taking it to extremes. McConaughey did it too as an AIDS case. That can't be healthy.
