New House Speaker Thinks Creationist Museum Is 'Pointing People To The Truth'

An ark replica with dinosaurs "is one way to bring people to this recognition ... that what we read in the Bible are actual historical events,” Mike Johnson said.

Before arriving in Washington less than a decade ago, House Speaker Mike Johnson, a deeply religious Christian, was a legal crusader associated with a fringe evangelical movement called “young Earth creationism,” based on a literal reading of the Bible’s Book of Genesis that posits the Earth is only several thousand years old.

Holy shit, MAGA Mike is a complete religious psycho!

The world would be a much better place if more religious people were in charge. That's because religions usually concentrate on the good. Of course this Muslim jihad is the exact opposite (pure evil) and should be extremely dealt with. Jesus saves. MAGA.

Yet history shows the opposite. History is full of religious wars and wars led by religious people.

Religious jackasses always believe that they are right about everything, that anyone outside their particular religion is evil, and therefore it's just to murder them all.

Adolph Hitler was fanatically religious (read Mein Kamp if you doubt it).

Hamas is fanatically religious.

Religion has brought nothing but misery to the human race.

The 10 commandments would be a good place to start. They're very hard to live up to but you'd be a better person for trying.

Since when do any of the Abrahamic Religious leaders ever try to live up to the ten commandments?

Religious people want everyone else to live up to the ten commandments, while they blatantly ignore them.

5 minutes listening to any major Evangelically leader babble their Non-Christian nonsense proves that they consistently break the 10 commandments:

Bearing False Witness and using the Lord name in vain.

Hell, I'm an atheist and I live up to the 10 commandments more than the majority of Religious people.

Much needed affirmation of faith.

In a chamber in which some members openly celebrate the slaughter of babies, this could bring about a return to decency.
So what is wrong with that? Ever watch a football game where the player thanks God for the win or even a touch down? Man have evey right to thank whoever he wants too

Nothing is wrong with it. I applaud.

I used to be atheist but I still admired the positive attitudes of evangelical Christians.

WRONG!

The U.S. Constitution starts with:

"We the People...do ordain."

Do you understand the meaning of that statement at all?

It means the U.S. Government's authority comes from the people, NOT FROM GOD.

Mike Johnson's statements:

"God is the one that raises up those in authority"

"God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here"

Are practically treason.

They are at least very, very Anti-American.

He should be removed from Congress.

Get Grip you are over reacting

You little Moon Bats hate religion, don't you? You are really butt hurt, aren't you? LOL!

Grow up.

He will make a great Speaker of the House. A lot better than that RINO McCarthy or that low IQ hate filled Negro Jefferies.

Beliveing in God is whole lot better for this country than believing in Karl Marx.
