Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador asks Xi Jinping to help control fentanyl shipments amid US attacks

For China's help in limiting the shipments of Fentanyl coming out of China. And so some may suggest that China will have to respond to the request because China can't risk being seen as anything less than completely concerned with humanitarian issues.

While others may suspect that China's goal could be in turning a blind eye in order to adversely effect end users.

Not to suggest either way, but for those aware of China's history, does this not bring back recollection of how Britain purposely addicted China on Opium?

I think that China will respond to Mexico's request on account of China's need to respect humanitarian grounds.

A plus for America and perhaps an olive branch being offered to America?

The war against Russia is practically decided and now is an opportunity for an attitude change in America, towards a friendly China.

what are you even talking about? the U.S. offered China an olive branch way back when.... when they allowed them into the WTO..... and China thanked us by spying through our colleges, stealing patents from our companies etc..etc...

China doesn't ship fentanyl....only precursors to make fentanyl, which I'm pretty sure have other uses than for fentanyl.

The Fentanyl attack on our country is part of China's plan for weakening America by going after the youngest generation directly by drugs and indirectly by mentally damaging State sponsored and controlled videos via TikTok. They have a multi-decade plan for gradually overtaking the US economically and militarily and thanks to Biden and the Democrats, they are ahead of schedule.

Correct again. The cartels are setting up Fentanyl kitchens in the US now using those chemicals as well as animal tranquilizers and God knows what else. Why smuggle it when you can cook it up right here?
