Metaphor Alert: Penn Stations New Concourse Already Falling Apart

i always find it interesting when walking around inside 2,000 year old buildings and then think of the crap of modern man.

I hear ya. There is a castle in Palma Mallorca that stands on top of a hill over there. It's kind of a simple design, but I can also tell you that the acoustics of that place were PHENOMENAL. They had a speaker suspended on a cable that went from the top to the bottom (3 stories if I remember right), and that small little speaker wasn't all that loud, but the music could be heard through the whole castle.

The Roman aqueducts had a slope of 1 inch per 10 feet. More sloop too much water flooded you, not enough and no water. They built them miles long.

They just redid my road. Big lake in it every time it rains.

2000 years later you can still use the aquaducts, meanwhile the Tappan Zee bridge didn't last 60 years
