Megan McCains Disgrace Proves The Point Conservatives Are Prone To Submission

This should be appalling to everyone, but it’s not. In fact, submission is a trait common amongst conservatives, who hold the projection of strength above all else. This is likely due to their Ayn-Randian philosophy of survival of the fittest. The ones they perceive as strong are to be revered and feared. They are more rich, more powerful, and therefore better—it’s okay to submit to them.

To liberals, who always stand up to power, this is bizarre and sickening behavior. We can’t comprehend why they constantly humiliate and degrade themselves, but the core of our being is the opposite—we live to fight oppression. That’s why you’ll see a grassroots movement taking on Wall Street, or a bunch of young kids taking on the NRA, or unarmed protesters standing tall against water hoses and tear gas at places like Standing Rock, Ferguson, and Trump rallies.

When have you ever heard of a conservative standing up to power?

This is why there is such a disconnect. We liberals can’t fathom conservative submissive behavior—especially to charismatic authoritarians that so easily dominate their flock. It’s not just their ideology that’s bad, it’s their entire mindset. Unfortunately, this mindset is also a big reason for their political success: it’s ingrained within conservatives to fall in line. We always decry how GOP legislators always come together and vote the way their masters tell them—even if it goes against their stated principles or their own interests. It’s just what they do.

ROTFLMAO! "Charismatic authoritarians" like the Barrypuppet? Leftards bow to rich commies. You and those of your ilk are the best weapon of the global elites and their NWO agenda could ever hope to have. I am a constitutionalist that believes in the Bill of Rights and a government with limited power for the people and by the people. Leftards? They are ALLLL about "collectivism" which is just another word for communism. They back cultural marxism and stand at the bully pulpit preaching what is politically correct and what isn't....fuck 'em.

BTW, the dailykos is a commie front group. I made one post on that site claiming that geo-engineering is playing a part in climate change and I was banned from posting. They are simply a commie echo chamber...which is why you are so devoted to them....LOL!

That most on the right are attracted authoritarian strongmen is because they seek to compel conformity and punish dissent; most conservatives fear change and diversity – the authoritarian despot is sought out by the right in an effort to restore the order and conformity conservatives crave.

i don't remember us supporting Obama at all

conservatives blindly follow tyrants. Trump is a tyrant

Essentially a big case of projecting their flaws onto us

Don't think many of you even read or understood the OP. The silly whittle theory Meagan was pushing was about the FOLLOWERS of the leader of their party. In this case -- FOLLOWERS of DJT. Not the Prez himself.

And it's not submission. It's admiration for the "Straight Talk" that her Dad didn't successfully EVER deliver. Although McCain BRANDED himself as THE ONE AND ONLY straight talker. He totally failed to sell that stinky cheese.

It's only "submission" to the Daily Kos crowd because they cannot fathom that he has genuine support. And I GUESS --- that's the only media outlet that would take her silly rant..

Now you got me curious, so I went back and actually read the OP article. It appears you didn't understand it.

It's not written by Megan McCain at all. It simply uses her "shame" -- meaning how Rump insulted her father --- as a point of departure, among many points including Ted Cruz, Sean Spicer and Rinsed Peebus to make the point that "conservatives" (the right) are all into "submission" and hierarchies and "who's more powerful" and authoritarianism. The idea being that Rump disparages them and they like it.

We were just noting the same thing over here. It's a truism.

No.. Read it again. She's generalizing over and over again to ALL conservatives and leftists.

It's even clear from the except used in the OP. She's claiming it's a SYSTEMIC TRAIT of Conservatives that "liberals" (leftists --- she doesnt even know the diff since there are hardly ANY liberals left in the left) --- don't have.

"WE STAND UP to power." --- Meagan McCain

Bullshit. The leftists WORSHIP and LOVE power. That's all they care about. But ONLY when THEY are running things.

Once AGAIN --- Meghan McCain didn't write the article. She's just used (her father really) as the first of several examples by the author who did write it. It's actually got more to do with Ted Cruz and Sean Spicer and Rinse Prebious than with the McCains.

Dumb fucking post. You losers rigged your primaries with your magic super delegates and defended ignoring the votes of rank and file dems in court. You wanted a globalist piece of shit that is beholden to every piece of garbage she took money from, to be President. We kicked our globalist trash to the side early in the process. Then you relied a dossier Clinton and the DNC paid for, that was authored by Russian agents, to throw the election in your favor.

You do as you are told bitch. You are still following orders. Your disaster of an OP is proof you do as told.

1st off --- that last post of your was 100% personal and SHOULD have been at least deleted.

Secondly, the EMPHASIS is from heavy communication in business emails and postings where you are not there to speak with somebody. Emphasis AIDS comprehension. So does CADENCE and pitch and how you switch THAT up, which accounts for a lot of my usage of hyphens. For instance -- if I wanted to congratulate a female colleague on doing a ton of work in an unbelievably short period of time -- and I said "she is a fucking machine". THAT might be misinterpreted. HOWEVER -- if i write "she is a fucking MACHINE" -- that has a whole different meaning --- doesn't it you moron? BTW --- If I was yelling at you, I would have have CAPITALIZED the moron part. :113:

Thirdly -- this was not my interpretation of the OP. It WAS the way the OP was written. I read it. Maybe you didn't. But CLEARLY most of the responses in this thread focused on political LEADERS and their relationship to OTHER leaders. And that is CLEARLY not what the stupid ass article was about.

Any other problems with my postings should be reported or addressed to me via PM..

John McCain’s daughter’s support of Trump should prove to you how full of shit you are.

She literally hated Trump and knows that Trump doesn’t like her father and that his supporters don’t like her father, but yet she came around anyway.

That should prove to you how fucked up your thinking is.

30 years ago this would mean that Trump had the support of the entire nation.

Note how Megan McCain supports Trump while Bush is going around with Bill Clinton bashing him.

All because Jeb Bush is a total loser and got made a fool of.
