I find this amusing, as he didn’t contribute anything to Trump, only to some GOP Congressional candidates and PAC’s, some of which opposed Trump. He threw most of his support to Ted Cruz. He did donate to his inauguration, but other than that...

And Mercer had a minority stake in Breitbart, which he sold to his daughter. And Steve Bannon was forced out last year, and left for the second time.

This is also only speculation that Mercer is a billionaire, nothing concrete as to his wealth has ever been established. It has been said anywhere from $413 million, to $500 million, but agenda driven articles call him a billionaire.
