America is the Big Brother and keeps pace with all kinds of media interfaces such as the Internet. Americans are conscious of the role of media in the dissemination of philosophy/ideas through high-speed communications. Intelligence itself is changing.

Consumers today as well as students who are children of consumer-parents care about access to media and what media can provide and how it can stimulate. Media learning is therefore a new age phenomenon. We know from new age programs/stations such as The People's Court (TV), EWTN (Catholic-TV), and MTV that socialization is an interactive experience thanks to media-access technologies (e.g., wireless cable).

Americans today watch the futurama-aesthetics of Japanese anime and offbeat pro-democracy 'crusader' avatars such as Max Sterling (RoboTech) and Jane Royal (Space Adventure: Cobra). American film/animation critics note how these avatars/characters envisioned by Japanese artists/writers represent a very modernism focus on the development of technology as integral to the human imagination.

Americans want to likewise build a society that is representative of our modern age of media-engaged socialization creativity and entertainment (and education).

This yarn was inspired by Akira.

A virtual-classroom digital teacher named Mrs. Martha was teaching her class about the value of 0s and 1s in the generation of computing algorithms and byte-analysis. Mrs. Martha explained these systems were like true-false logic and could therefore be evaluated in terms of efficiency and reliability. Computing language was very 'sturdy.' People could learn from media very easily. All that mattered was access...and taste.

Ajay Satan, a self-proclaimed Internet-blogging 'democracy-defending vigilante' was tracking a psychotic copycat killer named Thomas Hewitt who was modelling his demonic criminal behavior after the fictional chainsaw-wielding cannibal Leatherface (from the iconic Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror-film franchise). Ajay dressed up in vigilante costumes next to film images of Leatherface throughout the years and suggested that the defamation of art, even graphic, loud, morbid, silly, or grotesque art can not be 'blasphemed' by citing it as 'creative inspiration' for real-world anti-social behaviors (e.g., crimes). After all, art is meant to reveal the intention to socialize peacefully.

Ajay's blogs caught the attention of some enthusiastic sociology-mathematics students at MIT who were studying the computational links between network-terrorism (or crime) and new age socialization matrices/grids designed to create streamlined behaviors (e.g., World Bank, Planet Hollywood, NASDAQ). Ajay agreed to meet with the MIT students but had to do so under the supervision of the FBI who insisted the entire 'study' be militarized (by the U.S. government) and considered classified. All recruited MIT students would need to be screened. The purpose was to evaluate threats of homegrown terrorism as the CIA dealt with ISIS. Thomas Hewitt was quickly classified by the FBI as the 'new Unabomber.' It was discovered that Hewitt was an MIT student.

As Hewitt himself became a 'pulp-fiction' celebrity (Americans simply ate up the thrill of a psycho copying a fictional film psycho), more and more movie/animation/comics/horror fans began dressing up as fictional outlandish vigilantism-relevant characters such as Snake-Eyes, Pythona, Freddy Krueger, and Batman. It was a pedestrian craze, but the CIA wondered if it could lead to some kind of fanatical street-rioting spirit not unlike the pedestrian craze seen during the Los Angeles Race Riots of 1992. The CIA ordered that the MIT student study be coordinated with the Mrs. Martha virtual-classroom instruction program that people with access to media could find (filtered of course.) Meanwhile, the avatar/character costume pedestrian revelry continued.

American sci-fi writers were creating futuristic imaginary cities of incredible technological breadth which would serve as 'totems' of modernism pride. These outlandish and advanced cities revealed a civilization focus on the interplay between intelligence and engineering. Thomas Hewitt was arrested by the FBI thanks to some clever lure-work. American sci-fi horror-film maker David Cronenberg decided to make a movie about masked urban vigilantes in Japan genetically transforming into aliens as Tokyo steadily became more...Orwellian. The film was titled City of Doom.

Alien: Covenant was the chic new sci-fi horror-film and it presented the story of human space-explorers engaging with a terrifying intelligent predatory alien creature called the 'Xenomorph' which compels them to redefine their definitions of teamwork. The film represented a modern fear of disintegration of peace in the development of technologies that take the human species way deep into the daydreams about evolution. Would an alien species be impressed with America's Facebook-consciousness?

After Ajay was commended for his work in assisting the FBI in apprehending the terrifying copycat killer Thomas Hewitt, the CIA awarded him with a special commemorative glass-gun which symbolized the intricate movements in modern media, from audiophones to fiber-optics. Ajay Satan was humbled and honored by the gift, and he was relieved 'Leatherface' was behind bars finally. It seemed media was becoming a beneficial aspect of the metaphysical lives of people in the modern world.

A cynical New Yorker cartoonist continued to pen a series of political-cartoons designed to criticize American social leaders' willingness to lead the people of the nation into a pseudo-Orwellian computer-connected 'synthetic telekinesis grid' of commerce and communication. These cartoons were humorous and simply revealed the 'labyrinths' of the computing age (the modern age). More and more students and intellectuals were being engaged by a media society which could easily have become a 'low-brow celebrity gossip culture.'

At the 2017 Harvard Conference, the impact of the Mrs. Martha media-education program was evaluated/discussed. In attendance were linguists, media-specialists, sociologists, educators, psychologists, anthropologists, and even economists. People were interested in understanding the weight of media and its role in literally transforming the human race into a network-oriented 'bee-hive.' Was this Orwellian or not?

martha8.png

American punk-rock musicians and graffiti-artists defied this modern trend with street-art designed to reveal a youthful resistance to all this daily lifestyle dependence on technology and tools. These artists/musicians formed a union known as Mask (since they all wore masks) and were devoted to lobbying with American politicians in D.C. to ensure that technological America would not become a mechanical (and predictable) America.

martha9.jpg

American movie-stars and hopeful young actors prepared to portray characters signifying this modern age fascination with basic street-justice, urban-control, crime-analysis, urbanization pedagoguery. These characters wielded quick guns, patriotic hats, and networking imagination (even if they were 'underworld hitmen'). Would participation in this new trend in entertainment (and hence the arts) be revealed to be a truly 'folklish' phenomenon (or simply a temporary 'asteroid')?

GOD: All this 'Facebook chatter' makes me nervous.
SATAN: There will always be an intellectual arena for PBS.
GOD: What's wrong with keeping things simple (e.g., Sesame Street)?
SATAN: Kids today want MTV and iPads.
GOD: I like how Ajay helped the FBI apprehend 'Leatherface.'
SATAN: There should be more 'folk-tales' about heroism.
GOD: Remember the time of the Headless Horseman?
SATAN: Yes, the Horseman has been replaced by the Xenomorph and Leatherface.
GOD: Everything is more 'graphic.'
SATAN: There have to be contours, so censorship becomes an important issue!
GOD: Free-speech is vital for an engaging modern Internet.
SATAN: Many abuse the Internet with spam.
GOD: Well, traffic-shorelines (e.g., Internet) will always 'invite' clowns.
SATAN: That's true; maybe Tom Cruise should be the next U.S. President.
GOD: Americans love celebrities; we need role-models (like Mrs. Martha!).
SATAN: Mrs. Martha is the new Mother Goose...
GOD: There should be a Yale Comp Lit course on evolution of folklore.
SATAN: I'd bet Steve Jobs would want to be a guest-lecturer...
GOD: Yes! Apple Computers resemble toys; that's 'commerce folklore.'
SATAN: This sounds very 'hip.' Let's watch Toys (Robin Williams) on Netflix.
