In all seriousness, we just learned today that GOP congresscritters asked the IRS to look into complaints from their field office in Ohio about Tea Party groups having to fill out a bunch of extra burdensome forms before finally getting their precious tax exempt status.

What did the IRS say? Sure thing, we'll investigate, and after they did, they have disclosed that there was wrongdoing there and they've apologized for it.

I feel like if this were a real scandal, the accusation that the government is against you would ring true, or government secrecy would be the case, but so far, the IRS has been pretty straightforward about what happened.

We'll see how far up it went, but it doesn't seem like it was systemic the way it was when Bush went after the NAACP and liberal churches and the like.

And let us not forget that groups on both sides have faced extra scrutiny and ALL of them have STILL been getting their tax exempt status.

The real scandal to me is how GE and other corporations continue to pay an effective tax rate that is lower than your average nurse.

What part of balanced and/or fair do you not understand ? Balanced and/or fair doesn't mean always right or perfect, but what it means is that it will be weighted and fair against any other news organization along with their reporting of the so called fair and balanced news reporting out there also. They actually do a nice job @ Fox, and the defensive mode of the lib networks is oh so telling on them, where as it seems the libs are always defending themselves in some weird way or manor against the fair and balanced teams. It seems that MSNBC makes it a daily venture attacking fox and it's supporters, so this tells me that they are always on the run, instead of on offence, otherwise if they were telling it and/or doing it right like they ought to be, they wouldn't be always in eternal defense mode.

Well between Noon and 3:00 Fox News does a pretty good job of reporting. At other times they're as ridiculously partisan as MSNBC is.

I would also argue that from around noon to 3:00 MSNBC also does a pretty good job of reporting.

All eastern time btw.

But guess what, nobody's watching at those times
