I am not saying it did not happen. I am saying that the two times it has been brought to my attention, I was shocked, and interested to see what he did...but unable to get any proof whatsoever.

Please...offer me something that backs it up. If it happened, there would be something more than Huff saying "I heard"....

You know, I can overlook a lot of things. The fact that he divorced his wife after she was in a disfiguring traffic accident. The fact that he carried on an affair with the richest woman in Arizona whom he married less than a month after his divorce. The savings and loan scandal where he was one of the Keating 5. His father getting him into the Naval Academy where he graduated 5th from the BOTTOM out of 899. The fire on the Forrestal where he was the only person airlifted off the burning aircraft carrier because the crew wanted to kill him and he has never been to a Forrestal memorial honoring the more than 160 who were burned to death. The coverup over his wifes drug addiction. The fact that he has so many houses he lost count. His many votes against GI benefits and his low approval rating. The fact that he stops anyone from finding out about loved ones lost in Vietnam because of the emarrassing videos he made denouncing the US (come on - he was being tortured - he would say anything - just like al Quada) and they could be declassifed.

But the one thing that really upsets me. He supported "free" viagra because he said "erectile dysfunction" was a "medical condition", but wants to make poor women buy their own birth control. Now THAT is sleazy.

Of course when Letterman does it, it is great comedy.

But yes, I am not impressed with that remark.
