Suggesting we as a people collectively should allow in any mass of foreign individuals over guilt for so-called phantom crime is unpatriotic, naïve and treasonous.

This isn't a blame game for the American people. It's a game the American people need to understand, in order to comprehend the real problem. The American people, through misinformation, are blaming the symptom. In this case, the symptom are the victims of American policy. Those victims are illegal immigrants, refugees, and their children. If this were understood in its entirety, and we were to do the right thing, this war on illegal immigrants and refugees would look much different.

We must also try and understand the parallel problems that we made for ourselves. While the American people still try and blame the illegals, it's the enablers who want them here for cheap labor. Which is also a big source of the problem. Start locking up the enablers and your illegal immigration problem is no more.

Knowing right from wrong does not require long term "seasoning". "Understanding how things work" is not an excuse for a get out of jail free card either.
