Majority of voters blame parents, not Trump administration, for child separation at border: Poll

The people I blame the most are the "leaders" (ha) of these countries, so proud to help their people escape their miserable shit holes.

What a great campaign slogan for them: "We're corrupt as hell, we'll help you find a way out".

Actually, the main reason why those countries are such "shitholes" as you and your hero Trump call them is because our insatiable appetite for illicit drugs have made them so.
That has little to do with it. In fact, the drug trade brings a lot of money into the country. These countries are shitholes because their governments are thoroughly corrupt. You can't start a business without a long line of government officials standing at your door with their hands out.
You do know there would be NO drug trade if there were NO market, don't you? American druggies are the cash cow that keeps on giving and keeps the trade alive. So if you want to cut off the drug trade, stop the citizen junkies.
Are you for ramping up the drug war then? Or the opposite?

Cause it's crystal clear that the only thing that will make a dent in the drug trade over the southern border is legalization of cannabis (at a minimum) and making it a legitimate business.

It appears Trump was actually winning that battle. Snowflakes are fooling themselves if they believe immigration is a winning issue for them:

A majority of voters blame the parents of the separated children at the southwestern border for the current immigration crisis, not the federal government, according to a new poll.

“When families are arrested and separated after attempting to enter the United States illegally, 54 percent of likely U.S. voters say the parents are more to blame for breaking the law,” says a Rasmussen Reports survey released Thursday.

Rasmussen found 35 percent believe the federal government is more to blame for enforcing the law, while 11 percent are not sure about the situation.

“A closer look shows that 82 percent of Republicans and 56 percent of voters not affiliated with either major political party feel the parents are more to blame for breaking the law. But 60 percent of Democrats say the government is more to blame for enforcing the law,” the poll said.

Among all voters, 49 percent say the administration is “too aggressive” in its efforts to stop illegal immigration, a view shared by 23 percent of Republicans, 46 percent of independents and 75 percent of Democrats.

Still, a quarter of all voters say those efforts are not aggressive enough, while 21 percent view the administration’s policies as about right.
They blame the parents for wanting to leave all behind , leave horrendous living conditions looking for a better life ?
What kind of animals are those denying these wretches a better life?
Improving their lives is not our job. We have immigration laws purely for the benefit of Americans. We have no obligation to improve the lives of foreigners. If we don't benefit from the admission of any foreigner, no matter how pathetic or miserable, we have no reason to admit them. If you want to save these retches than start a charity and got to where they live and help them. Don't tell me it's my obligation to have my country flooded with welfare parasites who take our jobs, clog our roads, and drive up our taxes.
Bripat, these immigrating people are not asking you to improve their lives. They are asking for a chance to do it themselves...in safety. Stop playing the victim. You have all the basics..food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and a hopefully safe un-polluted environment, and you spit out vile malice against anyone who seeks same for themselves and families against far greater odds than you ever faced. You ASSUME the immigrants wont work. A couple of weeks ago, DOJ raided some warehouse in Ohio and rounded up how many illegals? About 100 I think. A sign they'll be happy to work, and for a lot less than you are. BTW, how did that turn out? Did the employer suffer any fines or simply the loss of cheap help?
Nope, they are asking us to do it. They want to help themselves to our social programs and take jobs from Americans. If they wanted to do it themselves they would do it where they were born. They simply want to cash in on what Americans have created with their own sweat and blood. The claim that "safety" is the only reason they can't do it is utter horseshit. They are no less safe than any other citizen of the country where they live. We have all the basics..food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and a hopefully safe un-polluted environment because we created it. They have done nothing to earn it, douchebag. They are free to seek it where they live, not here.

The fact they they are willing to work for a lot less than Americans is precisely why we don't want them to come here, you fucking moron. That's the reason American middleclass wages have stagnated for the last 15 years. If E-verify was in place, the situation you describe would never have occured. Employers wouldn't be able to hire illegal aliens, but your Dim douchebag leadership have anounced they will not allow any such common sense measure to pass.

I couldn't care less about illegal drugs. I don't think any drug should be illegal. I don't even believe you should be required to get a prescription for any drug.

That is Rassmussen....here are some other polls.

Multiple polls showing 2/3 of Americans oppose the policy.
Separating Families At The Border Is Really Unpopular

Red state Texas....UT/TT Poll: Most Texas voters oppose family separation at the border, with greater support among men and Republicans

Rass is only polling "likely voters" which may skew it and it tends to consistently skew right. Given the preponderance of other polls indicating a dislike of the policy I think it is an outlier.

It is sad none the less that any one supports this.
It's not a policy. It's the law.

We have a visa system.
They know that they are breaking the law.
Dumping kids off at the border is child abuse.
Why do the Democrats want to promote child abuse?....oh yea, this is all just for more voters....sick creeps

Actually, joe, those corrupt leaders had a lot of help from an outfit called United Fruit, an American corporation that moved in and took over decades ago, literally enslaving the local population for America's edification and fruit appetite, together with our coffee addictions. Much like the UK colonizing India, only Central America had no Rajahs to be coddled. America has sucked these countries dry for decades. Why do you think Cuba rebelled? And the Juntas, instead of helping those forgotten, became the new boss that was like the old boss. So we can hardly scorn them for choices they never had AND that we were part of creating. You and me and every poster here would do whatever we could to get our families out from under the burdens they live under without hope. Illegal drug exports make it harder, because those cretins really do use the innocent. But we don't ban guns because of the few, yet we can cheer (and make up lies about fake) the inhumanity of rejection to curb the few dirtbags. Shame!

Hardly. And cannabis is readily available homegrown. We don't need no stinkin' imports for pot!

Jay walking is illegal. But the adminstration policy is not to treat as a criminal offense, lock up 100% of jaywalkers and remove their kids. It is policu.

Time for you to own it.

Seeking asylum is a legal way .

Once again the left's FAKE NEWS is starting to fall apart. The illegal child on the Time Magazine front cover...the father says the child was NOT separated from her mother.

Seeking asylum is a legal way .

They can apply for asylum in their own country.

That's because the majority of people don't fall for the media daily rant sessions.

Yesterday the media was claiming the increase in forest and wild fire size and intensity over the past 30 years is due to climate change, a big fat lie.

They ignored scientific studies that found the issue is that humans ran around stamping out natural fires nature started for decades. This resulted in decades of dry debris building up, several feet of dry fuel that would otherwise had burned off over multiple low intensity fires.

Natures frequent low intensity fires burn off the debris at a lower temp, kills off pests, and leaves the trees and forest alive and healthy. But because of human intervention now fires burn so hot with all that built up dry fuel it kills the trees and everything in its path. Way to go humans. But this is not a climate change problem.

Anymore anything you read in the MSM is horse shit.

What utter horseshit. The commies have been peddling that nonsense for 80 years. United Fruit began declining in the 1930s, and its workers unionized about that time. Blaming it for the corruption in Central American governments is the ultimate absurdity. Countries like Guatamala are poor because they are corrupt and practice crony capitalism. United Fruit is a classic example. Commies like you blame the United States because you know your policies are failures.

If these countries open their markets to competition, they wouldn't be solely dependent on commodity exports like bananas.

there's no jail time mandated for Jay walking. There is for drunk driving and violating our immigration laws. Democrats own this one.
