Very short post, but a quick observation. Most people here have seen the polls that show that most people get their news from the internet and radio talk shows, so I won't bother posting them here unless somebody throws a hissy fit. That being the case, my dad has started calling print and television "mainstream" sources the "legacy media." I think it makes sense. The "mainstream media" is hardly mainstream anymore, since they've betrayed the audience's confidence in a time when there are many alternative sources. Anyway, that's my opinion. Thoughts? Comments? Hissy fits for not posting polls?

the MSM is more reliable then alternative media. the MSM suffers from
a rather basic approach on any topic.

But I am not gonna quote blogs, they are mostly just like opinion pages
in newspapers. There advantage is a check function on the MSM.

Sloppy reporting, somebody out there will find out about it.

I like the way your Dad thinks, Hobbit. I, too, have been searching for a moniker that better describes what we used to know as the mainstream media. For a while, I was liking Old Media. Cal Thomas suggested the amusing Big Media - or BM, for short. But, I've settled on one that sizes them up perfectly, AND exposes the evil game they've been playing for our entire lifetimes:

The MSM/DNC. Quick, simple, and accurate.
