Thomas Homan, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), plans to retire in June, despite President Trump tapping him to lead the agency permanently.
Homan will announce his retirement on Monday at a ceremony hosted by the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, where he will receive the foundation’s Law Enforcement Leader of the Year award.
Homan plans to leave due to "family and personal considerations," said Liz Johnson, his spokeswoman, adding that he made his retirement plans before Trump took office.
Acting ICE director to retire
On January 30, 2017, President Donald Trump demoted acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director Daniel Ragsdale to deputy director, a position he already held, and appointed Homan as acting director.
Well, Lets never take this sign down!
The Great Douche tapped him to lead the ICE for IT.
IT should have 2-3 confirmed people for these jobs at a time.
It will save time.
