I kinda like this kerfuffle over "Guns! Guns! Guns!". At least we're not hearing "Russia! Russia! Russia!" any more.

Why?

The sheriff was poised to indirectly blame Loesch anf the NRA for the shootings re: the "less weapons" quip, when the proximate cause was his department's failure and the failure of the FBI to take action against an individual who had been pointed out to them at least 40 times for violent behavior.

Couple this with my earlier post concerning the surviving student's claim that CNN had dispensed with the speech and question he had prepared for the town hall and handed him a script.

Yeah, seeing him speak, I was amazed he showed no nervousness when he knows his office has a big part in how this killer got his one gun.

I do have to remind myself, it is Broward County here, though. Why would I expect less than blaming others.

He has not once acknowledged their own failure, publicly, that I know of.
