Anyone (else) out there have a problem maintaining an interest in someone beyond say, a few months to a year?

Is that a sign of selfishness or immaturity?

What if physical attraction only lasts for a short period of time? Regardless of who the person is?

I understand, but is it unnatural to not be able to stay interested in someone for an extended period of time?

In my experience flings, or "affairs" tend to last for about anywhere from two weeks to 2 years. Then they cool off and in a couple of years you run into her again. And have another fling.

It's because you forgot why you left her in the first place.
