That reminds me of a scene from one of my favorite Vietnam war movies, The Boys in Company C, higher ups are putting pressure on for a high body count so they call in a napalm drop on a section of the jungle and report that many of the enemy were killed, The thing being people in boots on the ground can also give faulty body counts.

Additionally, they don't fire on anyone without verifying that is the target they are supposed to take out. There are infrared, telephoto, as well as other sensors onboard to make sure that they have the right target.

As far as verifying the kills? Again, there is a recon flight after impact to verify the damage and double check the right target was taken out.

I really feel that If you don't have a live person to do a up close and personal assessment of the target, there are bound to be mistakes.
Many of these drones operate at a great distance, at which you can not even see the targets face. I have never seen one of those drones zoom in on the targets face?
These Terrorist could do a switch, with a suicidal martyr, in place of the real target individual, the drone system is not fool proof, nor should we put all our faith in these drones.The technology isn't that precise.

Really? Not precise technology? Well, maybe you don't think so, but I kinda think that being able to read a newspaper from patrol height, as well as see in the dark and infra red might be good enough.

Oh yeah.......they are also accurate.

And listen, just because YOU have never seen one zoom in on someone's face, doesn't mean that they can't. I've seen things that say contrary. By the way, you do know how it works don't you (oh wait......you don't otherwise you'd have kept quiet)? They see a group of people, zoom in, get identification on the people (and oh yeah......12 pt facial recognition software is more accurate than the human eye), and then zoom back out to get a good target picture.
