Just had a 30 minute survey over the phone about proposed ballet measures to limit public unions from using dues for political purposes without written consent from the individual union members.

Survey was some what difficult to understand because of the.....wait for it.....

Hardcore foreign accent of the woman on the phone.

Good for MO, I hope they get this done.

UPS is in on the act...
Kicking the Teamster's ass..
UPS Fires 250 Employees - Business Insider.

The workers violated the contract by staging an unsanctioned job action.
And to be quite frank, UPS has the Teamsters by the balls.
The company merely tolerates the presence of the union....I do not think the Teamsters will last another ten years with UPS.

Its not like people need a livable wage. After all, according to the R, everyone who works at a job is a teenage and lives at home.

Good. Scott Walker was a trend setter. He showed you could take on the unions and win. Now other states are following suit. It might be an outbreak of sanity across the land.
Except in commie blue states. Blue. Like ice.

Maybe one day a real state will go after the unions

The fuck are you talking about?
Why do you libs insist on trying to save the sinking ship....
Look, unions BLOW....They are on their way out.

Not as long as this remains a free country

What's this being a free country( a misnomer) got to do with anything?
Just because workers have the right to organize, does not mean the employers are obligated to do business with a labor collective..In fact quite the opposite.
What makes you believe this is a "free country"?
Your Messiah, Barack Obama is making freedom a rare thing these days.
Don't talk to me about this being a so called free country.
You fucking libs are incrementally encroaching on personal liberty on a daily basis.

You oppose the right to organize? That doesn't sound very 'free' to me.

How the fuck are you free when you have to join a gang in order to work? If you want to be a teacher you must join the union, if you want a job in certain companies you must join a union. Where is the freedom in that?

Yeah, because joining a cult is the epitome of freedom. And being forced to join that cult in order to work is freedom on steroids baby! Your so fucking free if you don't pay our dues you don't get to work at all freedom. And the tax payers are freedom lovers as well. Free to pay the extortion money the cult of unions has demanded of them. Serious freedom going on there.

I don't think you understand freedom.

That's not true. If you want non-union work it exists in every single industry. If you want jobs with specific companies that employ unions odds are you want that job because of what the union has done for employees there.

Where does that exist in teaching? The private schools the teachers unions are doing their best to close? Government unions are the same way, join or no government job. What exactly has the union provided? We've seen the numbers coming from Wisconsin that people not forced to pay unions chose not to, because the union means so much to them.

It's why the unions are doing their best to keep reforms making their membership optional not an option. Most would choose not to pay them for the nothing they do.

That's why VW workers in Chattanooga voted to join the union, right?

The Missouri House of Representatives will vote on Right to Work Laws on Tuesday April 8, 2014

The proposed legislation specifies that no person can be required to engage in labor union activity as a condition or continuation of employment.

That's kind of a stupid question.
"Just because workers have the right to organize".....
What part of the above statement did you not understand?
