Liz Cheney's Ad Draws Conservative Ire

Alec Baldwin writes articles for the Hufferpost, that should tell you all you need to know about the site and how much you should take them seriously.

those Progressives are sure getting their panties in a wad over political ads these days, first the one portraying the Democrats as cartoons, now this.

Oh the OUTRAGE.

That'll be faux outrage, Stephanie. No real outrage comes from anywhere but the left.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

That doesn't surprise me at all. She's just like her miserable father.

She hilariously weaseled yesterday on a radio show, claiming that the ad doesn't question anyone's loyalty. I think she's either profoundly stupid or she just decided to stake a claim to a share of the wingnut propaganda gold mine.
I saw that weasel too.
So funny, she crumbles when conservatives call her on her shit.

I'm shocked we haven't heard much on this from our resident conservative Constitution defenders, given that she effectively called defense lawyers criminals.

William Kristol is also on the board of the organization that put out this ad; I wonder if he'll be asked about it on Foxnews Sunday.

btw, just the fact that Kristol has something to do with this group pretty much puts a big coffin nail in any credibility it might aspire to.

Funny, William Kristol's father was another Socialist, who found the money was on the conservative side of things.

Irving Kristol
"Irving Kristol began his political life as a member of the Young People's Socialist League in the 1930s. He considered himself a Trotskyist throughout his years as an undergrad at the City College of New York. But sometime after graduation, he experienced a complete and total change of heart. Kristol described himself as "a liberal who was mugged by reality."

And then went on to lay down the founding principles of Neo-Conservatism and pushing our economy to be based more and more on war.

""We regret that they still refuse to tell the American people whether any of these lawyers are currently working on detainee issues inside the Department," said Aaron Harison, the executive director of Keep America Safe. "The American people have a right to know whether lawyers who voluntarily flocked to Guantanamo to take up the cause of the terrorists are currently working on detainee issues in President Obama's Justice Department."

Seems like a fair question to me.

The question is fair. The American people have the right to know how their money is spent. But to suggest that somehow it is unAmerican to make sure a defendant has a competent defense is an unAmerican suggestion. As if following the rule of law is somehow shameful, instead of following the rule of man.
