Liberals predictably manipulated with Mike Pence issue. Wow, they are easy. Left wing media hype.

We prepare for potential negative situations all the time and everyday so that potential threats of negative situations do not occur. Most of our laws are made to prevent potential situations and deeds from becoming reality.

Uh that is not true ... Most laws are established to handle situations that do exist in reality and our desire to steer the results ... Not to simply address the potential of what could happen ... Albeit this particular law amazingly addresses what is happening, what could happen as a result and what qualifications are required.

It just doesn't do those things in the context of "Christianity" nor "Sexual Orientation" ... Those are qualifiers you have supplied that do not exist within the text of the law.

You the one not living in reality dude. You think this bill was created in a vacuum? That there wan't citizens calling for the passage of this bill?

You need a reality check.

I have no desire to think that reality is driven by your perceptions ... Because it isn't.
What I think about the law doesn't change what it says ... What you imply the law means, still doesn't change what is written.
Neither your opinion nor my opinion makes a difference as to how and why the law will be applied or enforced ... That is reality whether or not you choose to accept it.

Pure lies and bullshit, and the dumb liberal sheep get worked into a frenzy again. Is there anything easier than the democrat voter? You stupid fucking hypocritical morons.

My own faith, rooted in the assurance of things hoped for and the convictions of things unseen, calls those of us who share it to a lifelong effort not only to deepen the understanding of the soul but to bring our actions, thoughts, and feelings into harmony with God's will. On that journey, as I have said many times in the past, I have been immeasurably enriched by the power of the Torah, the beauty of the Koran, the piercing insights of the religions of East and South Asia and of our own Native Americans, the joyful energy that I have felt in black and Pentecostal churches, and yes, even the probing questions of the skeptics. That is America at its best.

Just watch the hypocrites.

Fucking liberals folks. They are fucking morons. They are hypocrites. They suck.

And what are people called that constantly push division and encourage the "us against them" mantra? What are those called that brow-beat and slam Liberals, Conservatives, Moderates, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Right Wings, Left Wings, and any other divisive description or label? What are those called that aid and abet professional politicians? What are those called that blame and judge others for doing what they themselves do? What are the people called that condemn the acts of others, but they themselves make excuses for committing the same acts? What do you call people that deny their own folly, but are quick to judge others for doing the same?

Nice job Sonny ... I think you hit the nail on the head.
Perhaps if we argue about the potential hatred and division we could apply to anything ... We will continue to ignore the potential or in some cases very real abuse by career politicians.

It would be safe to say they won't make a law to address their potential abuse.

The law says you can not drive 70 miles per hour through a school zone during school hours. The law is in effect to prevent the potential of an accident. Laws are made because results of breaking most laws are predictable. The prediction is not absolute, it has the potential to occur. Cars may drive past the schools doing 70 mph for years without an accident occurring. The law will not be repealed just because no accident occurred in the last few years. It will stay in effect because of the continuing potential threat to the children associated with the school.

So did they make the law because no one was driving fast in a school zone ... Or because they felt the need to address people driving faster than they should in a school zone?
I mean if you want to support the idea that it is much better to be run over in a school zone at 25 miles per hour than 70 miles per hour ... I can concede that potential played its part.

Maybe you could explain just what the problem was that this law was needed? Can you do that?
You seem to be claiming you know the intent of the law as it was passed.

Was this a situation where Republican politicians went looking for a solution for a problem that didn't exist?

If so, they fucked up.

Liberals are so fucking stupid. Feigning their fucking fake outrage over gay rights. They are of curse supporting their socialist Israel hating sack of shit who is supporting all of the gay murderers in the ME.

Fucking insidious pathetic double talking hypocritical Christian hating sacks of shit.

All of them, worthy of zero respect. At most, they deserve to be pissed on. At most.
My, my you are so intelligent and a great orator...

That's an easy one. Those people you asked about are called "Republicans". They are the most divisive force in the country today. Kinda sad really.

The law has reaffirmation in the title ... And would suggest that those who passed the law felt the need to reaffirm what already existed within the context of previously argued law. If someone decides to get upset about the desire of others to reaffirm what already exists and expound upon its parameters ... Then it would only be safe to say that person was stupid enough to fall into a trap specifically designed for that purpose ... Regardless of what side of the argument you have found yourself.

Which goes back to the idea that person is being used as a tool of division and may be too foolish to recognize their own folly.

Translation (from profanity-laced tirade):

"We've been discovered gentlemen. We must try and do something to make our poop smell more like a rose or freshly based cinnamon rolls. How about we try and cast dispersions on our opposition, make disparaging remarks about them, and perhaps then they'll get equally upset and do the same to us. Then, instead of focusing on the actual issue, things will devolve into a mud-slinging contest. Then, when everyone's distracted, we can get things done in our favor?"

:)

When the potential reaches what the public deems is a critical point whereby they believe the potential will most likely be realized and cause drastic or tragic results, the public is inspired and influenced to take preemptive action to prevent the potential circumstance from occurring or reduce it's negative impact. In the case of the Indiana law in question, the public viewed the characters who promoted passage of the law and were in very visible positions behind the governor when he signed the bill. To many viewers it seemed obvious that those people had anti gay agendas and would most certainly use the legislation to promote their anti LGBT agendas.

Another rw delusional dreamer that refuses to acknowledge that the Indiana law differs from the federal and other state laws. They just can't get off the rw talk show knee jerk immediate talking point response.
Sophmoric rationalization to justify the continued bigotry of the left.

Either that or an accurate assessment of the reality of situation whereby the rw meltdown has caused delusional dreaming.

Just ran across this. why don't they care they are being dishonest? Is winning so much more important. It's terrible. No honor anymore

If Liberals Are The Good Guys, Why Do They Lie So Much?
John Hawkins | Mar 31, 2015

Liberals never argue with one another over substance; their only dispute is how to prevent the public from figuring out what they really believe. Meanwhile, it is a source of constant alarm to conservatives that the public will not understand what they really believe. – Ann Coulter

If you listen to liberals, you’d believe that conservatives are hateful, racist, cruel, selfish dishonest, mean-spirited fascists while liberals are compassionate, caring, open-minded, honest and giving saints who want the best for everyone.

If that’s true, then why is it that liberals have to incessantly lie about what they’re doing, what’s happening in the world and also lie about conservatives?

For example, take this latest flap about Indiana passing a religious freedom law that prevents Christians from getting run out of business if they refuse to participate in gay weddings. The law should be unnecessary given that the First Amendment already “prohibits the making of any law…impeding the free exercise of religion,” but getting beyond that, there are similar laws in 20 states.

Even Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have signed onto similar laws. Yet, you have liberals claiming that discrimination against gays will be rampant and even that black Americans will be turned away from stores for religious reasons because of the law. Of course, that’s not happening in any of the states with similar laws and it won’t happen in Indiana either.

If liberals are the good guys, then why do they have to lie about what the law does

No, not accurate or even any reality most people adhere to.

Then why would it be reasonable to argue over the context of this law outside of the terms defined within ... Instead of making a move that requires Indiana to make "sexual orientation" a protected class at the state level?

If your idea of potential abuse does not overcome the realities of actual abuse ... Then you are wasting your time arguing over nothing.
The only potential your argument in this case represents ... Is foolish division driven politics that desire to take something away from someone else in order to claim victory over a perceived threat.
