I usually try and figure out people's motivations, what they want. When you know what a person wants, what they need, you have the bulk of who they are.

Sil's a tricky bird. Her background wouldn't lead you to think she's be this obsessive about gays. She's rural, used to breed horses, had highly educated parents.

Yet she's created at least 80 anti-gay threads on our board, each with the same long, rambling, manifesto-like rants filled with self supporting pseudo-legal and pseudo-psychological gibberish. She's created entire websites on this topic, she's created her own message board with dozens of threads......where she's the only one posting.

Its one of the reasons I lean hard on the mental illness hypothesis.
