Because thats my stance. If the state wants it, they should be able to do it so long as it doesn't violate federal law.
Well, what you suggest would violate federal law, wouldn't it, since the Constitution is federal law.
SCOTUS has already ruled that the Bill of Rights applies to the states anyway.
