The TN legislature voted to remove funding for Planned Parenthood, but somehow after it was removed it was somehow put back in. Nobody wants to fess up to who did it.

It seems now that it has been put back in and voted on, so funding was sneaked through for another year.

Is this what we have to watch out for in future? Clandestine funding at the state level without approval??

This manuver is dishonest at best.

No... what we have to look forward to in the future is more bullshit from the right demonizing everything remotely connected to abortion. Freedom for all!!!(except pregnant, scared teenagers, Poor people, the Middle Class, gays.... etc, etc.)

I don't care if someone gets abortion or not but the state should not be funding it. If people want to make a choice they should not be asking the state to be funding it for them...plenty of groups do fine with private funding so they need to do so as well.

The board members will stipulate that you will list every one of your politically correct protected classes...
Hey genius. This is not about outlawing anything. This is about funding. The taxpayers no longer have the money to fund "choices" other people make. Planned Parenthood and other similar groups should have long ago sought the assistance of the private sector. But no. These people always knew they had friendly politicians they could rely on. Well, the money gravy train has run out of fuel. Time for these groups and organizations to back away from the public trough and learn to raise their own funds.
