Leftist-Free Communities?

I visited Deadwood about a year ago. Pretty cool little historic town, but the tourism industry has made it a bit one dimensional. Beautiful natural scenery.

Deadwood is one of those towns that ought to be leftist-free. I'd spend my money there if I knew I could have a beer in a historic saloon without any proggy-whiners getting in my face.

Here is another one. Quite right wing. None of those evil darkies either.

I left when I was 7. Great place to grow up in. I wish we would have stayed until I was older but my dad wanted out. He wanted to teach. He was the manager for the New York Store, a women's clothing store. It was owned by my family on my mother's side, the Margolin and Blumenthal's. They sold it to someone who sold it to someone who then sold it to Kevin Costner who turned it into a dinner-casino called the Midnight Star. Costner recently sold it.

We got a great deal on a hotel there. Called something like deadwood gulch, I believe.

So you wouldnt enjoy being free from authoritarian assholes?
They aren’t leftists. Those people are democrats and liberals. They certainly are authoritarian assholes, but only because they’re easily controlled by the establishment.

Would it be possible to establish a leftist-free community in the U.S.? I would love to live separate from these vermin, but I am not sure if there is a way to do it. Perhaps a religious and/or over 55 community of some sort? Do any already exist? Please share your thoughts.

As Newt Gingrich has implied, this will probably happen soon with secessions.

While I would enjoy a community with more people of my political mindset, I am wondering how to achieve it and maintain it. Unless you can pass laws restricting who lives where, I can't see it working.
.

It works in my town. It takes a little sacrifice, like being willing to give up being in close proximity to a population center that's likely to be full of the type of people we just don't want to be near.

People here are willing to work for the privilege of living in the environment they choose. The type of people who are not willing to work for this lifestyle stay in the city.

I understand. When I lived in rural areas it was much more pleasant for a variety of reasons. Fewer whiners was one of them.

My disdain for Leftists is not so much for their cognitive limitations, but for their unquenchable thirst for power over other people. This extends from from positions inthe federal government down to local school boards and even homeowner associations. Once ensconced in their positions, they will do anything to retain that power. That is why they are so opposed to term limits.
