Damn ... That story is so riddled with people doing the wrong things for the wrong reasons it's hard to know where to start.

The Congressman should have sucked it up ... I've heard worse language in a movie.
The kid should have taken a more productive approach towards expressing himself in a manner anyone would have respected enough to consider.
The school had no business suspending the kid for cussing on the phone ... Unless it was against school policy to use a phone during scheduled classroom time.

And ...
The only way the First Amendment could have been violated ...
Is if the child was exposed to opinions rather than approved subject matter during scheduled classroom time.

It's like a completely screwed up version of partisan hackery where everyone gets screwed for the wrong reasons ...
