If you fail them, they're going to drop out, but lacking a HS diploma be less likely to get a job, or into college than if they have the diploma. Can take remedial courses in every college if need be. If ya can't hack it there you wont be there for long, but at least you'll be able to get basic employment and be less likely to become a problem for anyone.

Law school admissions count for crap. Law school isn't even necessary much less LSAT. Not in California. It's all about passing the bar. We have the most difficult bar in the country.

Yep. I went to law school and didn't bother with LSAT at all. California law does not require attendance at law school. Any law school. You can self study or even apprentice.

I know a woman who sat for the bar last year and never went to law school at all. She took a bar review course.

Oh yes. If you didn't go to law school or an accredited law school you have to take the baby bar. Torts, contracts and criminal law and pass that before you can sit for the general bar.
