Topeka Kan. (AP) — Kansas’ Democratic governor on Thursday vetoed a sweeping set of anti-transgender measures, including a ban on gender-affirming care for children and teenagers, but the Republican lawmakers who pushed them appeared to have the votes to override most of her actions.

Gov. Laura Kelly rejected restrictions for transgender people in using restrooms, locker rooms and other public facilities; limits on where they are housed in state prisons and county jails; and even restrictions on rooming arrangements for transgender youth on overnight school trips.

For a power & control blood thirsty agency to murder a family pet as truly magnificent as Faline 'WAS', is not acceptable under any condition. Faline was a young orphaned fawn(with a broken leg) that was attempting to stay up with the McGaughey family when they were out for a walk. Faline's momma had unfortunately met with disaster leaving lil Faline injured & unescorted. Faline was raised as an indoor/outdoor doe & could come & go as she pleased so she could socialize with the other local Mulies. Faline WAS categorized as a "Wild Deer But Domesticated To Only One(family)" which are now quite common across our USA since hunters make up less than 4% of the American population.

Notice that Faline does not know what to do when approached by the sociopaths/psychopaths. Faline knows that something is wrong but she only knows humans as part of her herd. The savages shot her in non-vital areas with the fifth shot in the head which finally killed her.

The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism has released a conciliatory statement after wardens shot and killed a family's pet deer last month in western Kansas.

The below image reminds me somewhat of my Bitsy(later Bitsy-Baby) which was a Columbian Black-Tailed(sub species of Mule deer) Doe. She & her herd (FULLY domesticated!) came with the farmstead my sis & her hubby purchased. It took about two weeks before we figured out that this herd was closing in on us. We poured grain piles to coax them into us. If we had only known that we could have just walked right up to them & petted them!!! Deer are hard on both veggie/flower gardens as well as fruit trees so the seller of the farmstead never told us about the herd. I arrived @ 14 yrs of age & left when I was 16-1/2 yrs of age. I had no choice in this matter but what I seen that day in the drivers side mirror of that old flat fender Jeep as I was pulling out still haunts me to this day.

The similarity between Faline & the image of the Black-Tailed doe cannot be mistaken. It took me a while to locate an image that reminded me so much of my Bitsy-Baby. Bitsy ALWAYS had those big ole ears up & came into me on a trot when the rest of the herd was pandering from me. She would just barrel right through them & then drop her jaw right into my cupped hands, where I'd bend over & plant a big smooch on that big ole black schnozzola of hers. She'd come right up on her rear hooves then plant those front hooves one on each side of my shoulders where we locked eyes. Looking right into those big eyes of hers was like looking into eternity(gives me chills thinking about that). I could go on & on about deer but until one experiences what I experienced back in 66' through 68' it just cannot be explained in words adequately.
