King Crab Colossal size.

We have an all you can eat joint that does king crab here and I will go there on occasion. I just cant pass up the crab though it is not the best at a place like that. They do a pretty damn good job for a buffet though. Likely because it is in a casino, the restaurant is more for getting people in the door than actually making money.

I saw some small King legs at Costco yesterday--$30/lb. Not a bad price these days.

I just saw 4 massive King crab legs, I noticed the weight was a little over 3 lbs for $155.00. No idea how long they have been frozen but at that price in this town, probably quite a while.

Welp the Cab legs showed up about an hour ago.
They're still in the styrofoam ice chest packed with dry ice and they fit in the extra fridge.
Haven't got a real good look at em just yet but they look pretty good.
I'll post some pics once I get em unpacked.

Back in 03-04 I took a year off and skippered a sportfisher up in SE AK. Ended up in Golfito, but that's for another day...

I snapped this pic of the cockpit one day. If you zoom in on the livewell, you see some dungeness crab and a pile of oysters on the right. On the left is a lone King Crab.

The next morning the Dungies had killed and eaten the King Crab. I didn't know they were like that, lol.
