I don't share the same outrage when "promoting porn in the classroom" and "promoting fisting in the classroom" turns out to be a recommended reading list that teachers are specifically warned to preview before assigning any books to students and a dental dam kit given out at a conference at a private university in which the 400 children needed parental approval to attend.

The conference discussions were very graphic and cannot be relayed in full detail in a family newspaper. A few examples are sufficient to describe the depravity of the subject matter. During one session about oral sex, a presenter asked the 14-year-old students: "Spit or swallow? Is it rude?" In another session, the 14-year-olds are taught about a gross practice called "fisting," in which "the man leading the discussion position[ed] his hand and show[ed] 14-year-olds how to insert their entire hand into the rectum of their sex partner."

It's quite possible the parents of these kids knew that the kids were sexually active, were afraid to discuss sex with their kids and therefore took the easy way out and sent them to this conference.

Frankly does it matter? Whether it's for blowjobs or fisting, IT IS NOT APPROPRIATE for children! If my kid was on that trip, all hell would break loose.

The kids weren't mandated to go on the trip and needed parent's permission to go.

400 kids went. I'm fairly sure the parents were not given all the information. And after the first boondoggle, Jennings apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. And it did.

As I recall, there was a great deal of information given to the parents, who specifically had to sign a permission slip, the 400 is the total number of attendees, which included many teachers (it was called a "teach out")
- PLUS - the conference was ON A SATURDAY.
