Kentucky's 'too low and too slow' response to the nation's worst hepatitis A outbreak

Thinly staffed county health departments had seen their budgets shrink. And federal vaccine money for Kentucky had run out.

"There's a very good chance James would be alive" had the state done more earlier to educate and vaccinate people in Appalachia, said his sister, Brandy Stafford. "We are desperate for help in these counties. People are crying out.

"Does the state not think these people's lives are worth something?"

Kentucky racks up one-third of all hepatitis A deaths in US as fatalities keep rising

Hep A outbreak in Ky. nearing 4,000 cases with 40 deaths

Hepatitis A outbreak races across the country

Republicans don’t want to talk about this because they don’t want to help these people. It’s a scandal that the media has totally ignored this terrible outbreak.

Appalachia and Kentucky are so poor that diseases that incubate there are starting to spread across the rest of the United States.

Thanks GOP, you did it to us again.

So government fails again, and deanturd knee jerk reaction is to parrot insipid bullshit about needing more government.

Facing mounting deaths and rising cases, Florida’s hepatitis A crisis is ravaging Central Florida | Florida Phoenix

Rivkees estimates that Florida has just under 500,000 residents who fall into the high-risk category of the homeless and drug users. He said to get the outbreak under control, the state will have to vaccinate 80 percent of that population.

The media doesn’t have time to report stuff like this because they’re concentrating on trumps criminal behavior.

Yes, government sucks at almost everything. Why do you insist on more?

Oh...right...you're STUPID!

Hmmm. Kentucky must have alot of immigrants. That's where the diseases are coming from, you know.

BTW, I noticed that your post didn't include the word "White" three or four times. You are improving. :04:

China floods the US with drugs through our porous border creating millions of new drug addicts. They shoot up with dirty needles and get Hepatitis. Dean thinks that makes it the GOP's fault.

The flooding of low wage workers and democrat welfare has hurt many Americans, we need help, but democrats are focused on increasing the pain and not coming up with solutions

It's not a cause they'd get behind, those people are white, Americans, and according to the OP, Trump-supporters.

You rely on government provided infrastructure each time you leave the house.
