I remember Bill Clinton bad-mouthing most of the Republican bills he signed within minutes on Capitol Hill, so he wouldn't mess up his liberal bona files with the left. He oversaw welfare reform and spending reforms. None of it would have even been possible without Newt's "Contract With America ", programs Democrats referred to as a despicable "Contract ON America". Meanwhile Clinton was destroying the banking industry, repealing Glass - Steagall, which led to the crash in 2006 and 2008.Yeah...like we need to return to the 90s, but some Americans seem to think electing the pantsuit will return us to the 90s. One would think they would learn from their mistakes....like electing a know nothing Illinois senator who was suppose to bring change and end racism.Wouldn't a person who ignores reality because they can't handle the truth need that help more than others ? Bill Clinton used his position of power to get women that makes him a predator these are facts.Hillary attacked those women these are facts. Keep on ignoring them if you want facts do not disappear no matter how desperately you want them to.What Slick Willie did to those women is not a foul ball and Hillary not kicking his disgusting ass to the curb tells how much she thinks of women. Ignore it all you want but Liberals holding up the clintons as Democratic Party royalty makes ever supporter an accomplice in everything Billie boy has done to women. As long as the Republican party throws foul balls, never. They spent $70 million on Whitewater, $20 million on Benghazi and have nothing, twenty five years of nothing, you figure they could at least get a little smarter in their traps.
You should consider professional help...
I'm no fan of Trump but he is not timid. All the garbage the Clinton's have dealt over the decades are going to come storming back into the light of day. You lefties are a lost cause and do not care what terrible things Bill and Hillary have done, but the fence sitters will be listening.
I think most people will see a chance to return to the 90's economy under Bill Clinton, when we were all making money and we weren't fighting a Republican war. Or they can elect Donnie and expect to be in another war within a year. That seems to be a clear choice.
Glass–Steagall: Aftermath of repeal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
........the GLBA’s “repeal” had permitted “super-banks” to “re-enact the same kinds of structural conflicts of interest that were endemic in the 1920s,” which he characterized as “lending to speculators, packaging and securitizing credits and then selling them off, wholesale or retail, and extracting fees at every step along the way.”[47] Stiglitz argued “the most important consequence of Glass–Steagall repeal” was in changing the culture of commercial banking so that the “bigger risk” culture of investment banking “came out on top.”[48] He also argued the GLBA “created ever larger banks that were too big to be allowed to fail,” which “provided incentives for excessive risk taking.”[49] Warren explained Glass–Steagall had kept banks from doing “crazy things.” She credited FDIC insurance, the Glass–Steagall separation of investment banking, and SEC regulations as providing “50 years without a crisis” and argued that crises returned in the 1980s with the “pulling away of the threads” of regulation.[50] Weissman agrees with Stiglitz that the “most important effect” of Glass–Steagall “repeal” was to “change the culture of commercial banking to emulate Wall Street's high-risk speculative betting approach.”[51]
