The problem with that is their global competitors do not face the same constraints. So it’d be harder for American banks to compete for the business of multinational companies.

I don't know. Focus creates a better product. And this insane level of conflict of interest could be a ticking time bomb for a bank anywhere on the planet.

Seems to me that if we went back to having banks do what they USED to do, competition would increase across the board. This Too Big To Fail crap is a farce.
