Just Saw "Gravity".

If by well acted you mean grunting and whining on cue Sandra was SUPERB

Acting is a lot more than reading lines without flubbing.

Much of it, especially in film, is getting you to believe that person is who they are portraying and getting you to follow along in the story.

They have to get you to suspend your notion that you are really sitting in a chair in a dark room and watching a bunch of shadows on a wall.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

And for the most part, it's an entirely subjective experience.

Gads I LOATHE Clooney...the only shows he's in that are any good are the ones where he either dies, or plays a brain dead dolt...which really isn't acting at all. I love Sandra Bullock, though. I have no idea what "choices" she may have made that offended swallow...that's kinda a creepy thing to say, but I love space movies. I'm all over it. Well, when it hits netflix.
Well, her choice of husband sure was a poor one. The last husband as I don't know if she remarried or not and I'm too lazy to go look it up. lol

I enjoyed her most in "The Lake House" though I'm no fan of Keannu Reeves.

I've been eying this movie but think I'll wait for it to come out on Amazon Prime.

I must be getting jaded in my old age, I was totally underwhelmed.
The special effects were good though.

3D seemed to totally change Sandra's facial features somehow.
