On his Thursday radio show, conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh defended the controversial comments he made Wednesday calling Georgetown student and so-called contraception activist Sandra Fluke “a slut” and “a prostitute.”

He suggested that certain requirements be applied before doling out taxpayer-funded contraceptives.

“If we’re going to have to pay for this — then we want something in return, Ms. Fluke,” Limbaugh said. “And that would be the videos of all this sex posted online so we can see what we’re getting for our money.”

Limbaugh attempted to clarify his comments and explain the rationale for his derisive labeling of Fluke.

“Now what did I say?” Limbaugh asked. “I said if we’re paying for this, it makes these women sluts, prostitutes. What else could it be? We are buying it.”

Limbaugh also raised a few questions about Fluke, including how she paid for birth control in the past and why it isn’t covered on her parents’ insurance.

“Ms. Fluke, who bought your condoms in junior high?” Limbaugh said. “Who bought your condoms in the sixth grade, your contraception? Who bought your contraceptive pills in high school? Wouldn’t you be just as likely to go broke in high school and junior high as you would be in college? Who paid for them then? Ms. Fluke, because of ObamaCare, you are still on your parents’ insurance coverage. Why don’t your parents’ policy provide your contraception? Why do we have to? You are still a child according to ObamaCare.”
