What the DoJ should be doing is rounding up and arresting these local public servants that are aiding and abetting criminals and promoting criminal behavior. We need to flush the corrupt swamp creatures out of the FBI and DoJ and get people willing to enforce Federal laws and apprehend those that break laws.

They are not defying federal law. The federal government cannot force state and local governments to cooperate with federal law enforcement.

I agree with the Administration. This was a very flawed ruling. The courts cannot stop approved spending and it is in the Presidents authority to withhold funds from entities that are not obeying the law.

Or, if it is okay for these cities to disobey the law, then why should Trump obey the ruling...

Simply don't give them the funds. The last President was infamous for not following the law.

The ruling was 100% correct. Congress appropriates the money and they did not authorize the executive branch to withhold the money so a President cannot withhold spending. There is no constitutional law that requires state and local officials to cooperate with federal authorities. A judge can order the funds to be disbursed since the money has been appropriated and Trump signed it.

This is not a final decision and like the other half dozen lower court decisions that have been overturned already will likely also be overturned.

Give it time we are 195 judges into the transition. Obama spend 8 very busy years destroying the United States government it's going to take at least 8 to fix it. Little did Trump know that when he ascended to the office waiting for him was an entire Washington DC full of Obama sycophants.
