* Capitalism foments racism, sexism, homophobia and anti-immigrant campaigns.

Capitalism is un-American. Instead of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it traps us in a political system and economy focused on greed and the pursuit of private profits.

What liberals don't understand is that US companies outsource labor to foreign countries so that they can produce products Americans can afford. Your $2,000 flat screen was made in China because if it was made by union members here in the US, it would cost $5,000. If union members want to be paid 5 times what Chinese workers are paid, don't you think they should produce 5 times as much product?
Corporate taxes or what you call corporate welfare is bullshit too. Taxes are just another business cost that gets passed on to the consumer. Every dollar in taxes or wages a corporation pays to produce an item raises the price to the consumer by a dollar plus what the company feels is a reasonable profit margin.
Corporations are in business to make money. It is their sole purpose. They make money by selling a product that people need for a price that people can afford to pay. They have no interest in keeping anyone poor. Poor people don't buy flat screens.
