I think Joe's been a class act throughout his career and don't believe he had any intention of trying to protect the coach or anything else related to his program. I assume he assumed after reporting it up the chain that something would be done.

I do though think the school made the right move last night, just wish Joe had been able to go out on a more positive note after what he's done for nearly fifty years at PSU.

Wish him a long and happy retirement.
