College & training are services, such as goods & services, that are an option should you choose to participate. YOU are responsible to pay for that service. The cost of those services go up in conjunction with the pay for those types of jobs receive. Capeesh???
IOW, there are some jobs that don't require extra training or schooling & those jobs pay lower scale wages. Some jobs require 2 or 4 or 6 or more years of schooling/training and/or degree...…..those jobs pay higher wages as an investment in their employees because the employees invested that time & money in that training. These are all personal options of what you want to do with your life......stay in Mama's basement & whine because you don't get a free ticket to the CEO desk? Or you go out, get a job to pay your own damn way thru school, to get a degree so you can then qualify to get an even better job with better pay & better opportunities. That's what's called working your way up the ladder of success

Child/daycare is another OPTIONAL service and yes it's expensive for a stranger to take care of your kids for you day in & day out.

Most decent jobs offer paid sick & vacation, decent pay scale, medical/dental/disability insurances, 401K, etc...…..heck even Walmart offers those things except beginning wages if you're a full time employee.

If you don't have these things, then you need to get a better job. Can't get one? Then look into going to school for a degree or certificate. Check with the school for any financial aid, student loans, etc that you pay back with the extra wages you'll be making with that newly earned degree.

So when you started out...….did the government pay for everything? Didn't you have to work hard to get where you are now? Didn't those same practices as I laid out above how you got thru life? I know I did......I worked for everything I have now......so why shouldn't it be the same for everyone else? I've taught my kids the same...….if you want something, then do something about it & don't expect others to give it to you. What you get in life is from what you've put into it. Plain & simple.

As I said...….if you want a better paying job, then go to school to better yourself. My first job out of high school was $3 an hour to start. Even in the late 70's that wasn't a living wage. But I did stick with it for over 2 years and got raises. Still wasn't much, but did get by. That work experience then got me a better job with better benefits that paid more than twice what I was getting. Same thru several job changes...….one builds on the other thru years of experience in a field that leads to promotions & raises.

You want the Gilded Age Again? Of course no one argues with that work ethic, youyou want go back 2 poor houses it's getting that way now great job worst inequality and upward ever. Wake up
