President Trump's daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump will lead the U.S. delegation to India for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in November.

The move was announced Thursday by Trump and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter. Modi had previously invited Ivanka Trump to visit the country in June when he visited the White House.

This summit is not new. It has been going on for few years now. It happens every year. It was initially started by US State Department to bring together Indian and American entrepreneurs then it took off and transformed into a full blown yearly summit. Since she is a business woman, she certainly belongs there, may be not as a leader of the summit.

Her own company is a small vanity label clothing company, with a reputation of hiring sweat shops known for human rights violations to manufacture her goods.

It is illegal for a President to hire immediate family for Cabinet or executive level White House positions. Trump has hired both Ivanka (who has no salary but does have paid staff working for her), and her husband, which violates the Nepotism Act.

Neither Ivanka nor Jared Kuchner should be working for the White House. Lots of people have complained about it. Stop pretending otherwise.
