It's Unanimous: No One Likes the Ryan Budget

$716 BILLION....

Oblama attacks Medicare, the ONLY person EVER to cut the program.

Yet, with Obamacare, and cutting the abuse and fraud, it's Obama who saves Medicare. Ryan wants to tell seniors to pound sand by giving them vouchers which may or may not pay for basic coverage.

Ah another one, robbing medicare of billions is now cutting the abuse and fruad..
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yeah. They voted for it for appearances but when the rubber hit the road they threw it under the bus faster than they did Akin (R) :lol:

With that logic, every pissy pants democrat can't run away from Obama fast enough, correct?......:eusa_whistle:

It's not logic, it's empirical observation: the Ryan budget has become politically toxic in downticket races. Those Republicans who aren't on record as voting for it are actively campaigning against it, those that did vote for it are hoping Romney-Ryan will shut up about Medicare and maybe the issue will go away, and the House leadership isn't saying whether they'll try to pass it for a third time if they keep the chamber.

Most voters don't actually want to end Medicare.

Amazing, you actually believe that nonsense......:clap2:

you are talking the Democrats voting on the Obama's budgets right?
ah probably not, you all don't WANT to TALK about that, because HIS OWN PARTY thew it down the toilet it was so bad

PolitiFact | Paul Ryan said President Obama

Ryan said Obama "funneled" $716 billion out of Medicare "at the expense of the elderly." This gives a very misleading impression.

In fact, the law limits payments to health care providers and insurers to try to reduce the rapid growth of future Medicare spending. Lawmakers said they hoped the measures would improve care and efficiency. Those savings, spread out over the next 10 years, are then used to offset costs created by the law (especially coverage for the uninsured) so that the overall law doesn't add to the deficit. Ryan’s statement is exaggerated and we rate it Mostly False.

You should read a newspaper ocassionally before posting. Obama shifted that $. You know what Mitt/Ryan does for that same amt of $ from the same program? :eusa_eh: :eusa_whistle: :clap2:

ya gotta love it...only for Obama IS
robbed BILLIONS from Medicare now called, shifted
and flip flopping is called, EVOLVING

When you don't understand an issue, or the facts surrounding an issue, you shouldn't post about it.

Ryan's budget contains the same cuts. Then a few years later, his budget starts dismantling the program. Will you now join your comrades-in-arms and run from it?

There is no such thing as the Ryan Budget. It's been scrapped, long ago.

It last passed the House about four months ago (for the second time).

There is no such thing as the Ryan budget. You are attempting to distract.

Fail.

Ryan's two budgets received a total of 463 votes.

Oh, I don't think anyone's going to be allowed to forget that. In every race where one of those Republican yea votes is on the ticket, it'll come up.

Hence the uneasiness of the candidates, as described in the OP.

We are so worried.

My congressman was told that if he didn't vote for it, he shouldn't bother coming home.

He's not gonna have any issues.

then you and your little buddy stop posting..

Well, since clearly none of the conservatives in this thread want ANY cuts to Medicare,

how do you same people propose to pay for the ever growing cost of the program?

Our budget:

Cuts government spending to protect hardworking taxpayers;

Tackles the drivers of our debt, so our troops don’t pay the price for Washington’s failure to take action;

Restores economic freedom and ensures a level playing field for all by putting an end to special-interest favoritism and corporate welfare

Reverses the President’s policies that drive up gas prices, and instead promotes an all-of the-above strategy for unlocking American energy production to help lower costs, create jobs, and reduce dependence on foreign oil.

Strengthens health and retirement security by taking power away from government bureaucrats and empowering patients instead with control over their own care;

Reforms our broken tax code to spur job creation and economic opportunity by lowering rates, closing loopholes, and putting hardworking taxpayers ahead of special interests.

At its core, this plan of action is about putting an end to empty promises from a bankrupt government and restoring the fundamental American promise: ensuring our children have more opportunity and inherit a stronger America than our parents gave us.

Somebody should tell Ryan that there's no such thing as the 'Ryan Budget', because over at the House of Reps budget website, his face is front and center.

You don't want Medicare costs cut? Your position is that Medicare costs should simply rise in accordance with the rate of medical cost inflation?

That's very socialist of you. lolol

I guess you didn't read the post directly above this one.

Why am I not surprised...?

Ahhh... You are talking about the HOUSE of Representatives budget passed by the House for fiscal year 2013.

Reid shit all over that and wouldn't even permit it to be debated.

Perhaps you should actually be talking about the budgets which ROMNEY will be proposing instead of your fake argument?

LOL
