It Is MY Wallet!

I am sick and tired of other peoples' hands in my pocket.

The Democrats seem to think they have carte blanche permission to dip their hands into my wallet whenever they wish. "Hey, we have this guy over here who dropped out of high school and we need your money to pay for his health insurance."

"Hey, we have this woman over here who keeps getting pregnant and we need your money to pay for her birth control/abortion/child's food-clothing-shelter-insurance."

The liberal mindset is truly bizarre. If I don't give them my money, I am the one who is costing the government money! This is so ingrained in their thinking that when you fight for your money, they begin to grin like a Biden-monkey and drool and show their teeth.

It isn't the irresponsible people costing us money. No. It is the "hard-hearted assholes" who won't subsidize irresponsibility who are costing us money.

What a weird, fucked up philosophy the Left has.

See my sig.

Two things you might want to keep in mind.

I'm sure you've heard the old axiom that 'a stitch in time prevents nine'. Well, birth control pills are certainly a less expensive option than pregnancy. And that's not even counting the cost of caring for a dependent child, assuming that the state might just have to step in to offer subsistence of one kind or another. Then there's also the cost of social workers and possibly the cost of the legal system getting involved if that disadvantaged child grows up to be an angry delinquent. What do you suppose all THAT costs?

In keeping with the idea of minimizing financial costs as well as societal costs, preventive medicine is considerably cheaper than emergency room care where uninsured people often end up if they don't have coverage. And who do you think ultimately picks up the tab for all those ER visits if and when those people don't have insurance?

The second thing you might want to keep in mind is that Republicans have been (and continue to be) perfectly willing to spend YOUR tax dollars on THEIR priorities.

Sterilization is even cheaper.

So you have a problem with Seniors and the disabled then. You must be proud.

Nope. The working folks who pay no income tax (AKA "fair share").

Oh you mean the people who do pay taxes, just not the taxes you want them to pay. So "Any" just mean "income taxes" and not "Any".

I assume then you were adamantly opposed to the Bush tax cuts and you are insisting that they expire at the end of this year. Is that correct?

idiotic assumption.

as an unmarried liberal I'd like more money in MY wallet, too

so I think it is time to start taxing churches and religions so I can keep more of my own money.

and I'm tired of socialist conservatives with wives and children getting tax breaks! Why should I pay MORE in taxes (as a single man) than conservatives with families?

THAT smacks of socialism!

I don't care how many wives or children he has. I should NOT have money taken from me to subsidize HIS family!

I have no problem with either proposition.

Yes actually the deems are. What was proposed was a 9/1 cut and raise new reveneu

Wrong. What was proposed was 9 bogus cuts off in the future that will never occur as opposed to 1 real tax increase that would have occurred immediately. When Dims agree to cut spending in the current budget, perhaps they can be taken seriously, and I mean "cuts," not decreases in the rate of growth.

Dems have always favored higher taxes on the rich. What I find shocking is this new republican meme that some people don't pay enough taxes.

Well both sides argue that people don't pay enough taxes. It's just a difference of who they each claim isn't paying enough. Dems argue that it's the rich, repubs argue that it's the poor and middle class.

So your solution is to raise everyone's taxes?

That is so beautifully liberal!

No, no, no.....just the evil theiving rich bastards who stole the poor people's wealth. RDD is merely bring balance to the world.

Thats your wallet, and you need to cough up your fair share of taxes otherwise go to jail or get out.

Thanks for quoting the law to us, asshole. We wouldn't have known that if you hadn't told us!

and you keep telling yourself you're "small government" when all you want is government to tell women what to do and advance your religious agenda.

When did I ever tell women what to do? I'm an atheist, so what's my "religious agenda?"

So you're a millionaire?

Do you think $16 trillion of debt will be paid just by millionaires? Are you really that stupid?

.

Do you really think anyone is proposing fixing that debt solely through tax increases? Are you really that stupid?

You cannot pay off your credit card by stopping spending. Not spending any more does not bring down the balance on your credit card.

The only way to pay off the credit card is to pay the balance. And that requires revenues.

We have a $16 trillion revolving credit balance. And Obama's been adding over a trillion dollars a year more to it.

I long for the old days when repubs were in charge of things and we didn't have damn taxes.

Democrats: Tax and Spend

Republicans: Borrow and Spend

Notice the spending part. THAT is what is costing us money. America's wallets are not bottomless.

You can't fix a spending obsession with a higher credit limit.

.

Exactly.

Why would any working American want to give more tax money to the spending pigs and whores in DC?

I do not get it. If someone in your house spends too much and refuses to be accountable and cut back do you keep offering them more money?

Raising taxes does what for the country exactly? I know what it does to those of us with the tax burdens.

Remind me what your thoughts are on the debt/deficit.

Actually don't. I really don't care about your hypocritical opinion. So keep it to yourself.

Again I don't care about the opinion of an unemployed welfare queen who hates poor people but thinks he's not a moocher.
