It costs 12 times as much to resettle a Muslim Refugee in the US vs the ME

I have researched several studies on the subject and the estimates range from 50 to 65 thousand dollars per year for the first 5 years of resettlement. That works out to about one quarter of a $MILLION for each Muslim refugee which is about 12 times the estimated resettlement costs if they stay in the Middle East. Remind me again why this is good for the US on any level?
