Israeli second opinion can save US lives | Health
I had heard about this before, but it really hit home last night. I had to get an MRI at around 8PM, and our hospital utilizes this service. The United States has a shortage of radiologists, so when we need something read after the radiologists have left for the night, or if a second opinion is needed, Israeli radiologists read and interpret within minutes. Pretty cool.
