Charges and trial are not the same thing. It could be years for a case to go to trial. Right now they can't even run a fair investigation and can't decide what the charges will finally be. In the mean time the presumed suspects are safe from mob lynching in jail. On the streets the police will be in danger trying to protect the presumed suspects and hinder a chance at a full investigation, correct charges that will stick or trial

Justice is systematically denied. Violence against defenseless people continues out-of-control - pandemic across Palestine.

Israeli leaders earlier promised crackdowns on settler violence. Netanyahu vowed to treat radicalized Israelis the same way as alleged Palestinian militants.
