That is the root of the problem. Israel is in Palestine and the Palestinians, understandably, do not want it there.

What is Israel going to do to alleviate this problem?

Stereotypes come from someplace, not out of thin air. After Rabin and Peres concluded a peace deal with the P.L.O., terror increased instead of decreased. That's why types like Sharon and Netanyahu get elected. And Mr. Tinmore, if you are so concerned about stolen land, I suggest you leave the United States if you are not of Native-American ancestry. Just because it happened 200 years ago, instead of 60 years ago, doesn't lessen the crime. If you don't leave the U.S., you are a hypocrite.

Atrocities? You mean like blowing up ppl in busses, cafes and Passover meals? You didn't answer the question of why, when Israel started withdrawing from the West Bank under Rabin and Peres, terror increased instead of decreased.
