So I heard today that once BP puts 20 Billion into the fund that all control of who gets the money will be handed over to 1 man. Obama's unelected Pay czar.

Now I am not even sure if that's true, But if it is, in light of all the Buying of votes this administration has already done in congress. Does it not worry anyone that this one single man appointed by obama might dole this money out based more on how many votes it might buy than on who needs it most or deserves it? I know you partisan Democrats feel like you have to stand behind him but really? you have no problems with that?

Just food for thought. I have no proof the would do this, But it is this kind of speculation that will always go on now that it has been made abundantly clear the Obama admin is not above using tax dollars to buy congressional votes, and obscure offers of positions in its admin to get influence elections. Basically it has been made clear Obama is no different or Better than anyone else who came before him, and might actually be worse because he ran on a platform of not doing business as usual.

Even the stimulus was designed more as a re-election for democrats tool than a stimulus. Why else is it that, By the Admins own admission, that this summer will be by far the most visible effects of the stimulus yet, as millions of Americans will be barraged by signs in construction zones telling them how its paid for by the stimulus and putting people back to work(never mind they are only temporary jobs). Even as unemployment stays stagnant or gets worse?

this is change we can believe in? I have seen some bad presidents. Including the last one who I thought might have been worse, but this guy takes the cake as far as being sleezy. I guess that's what we get for believing that a politician from Chicago would lead us to hope and change.

It is really sad, and the worst thing is there is not answer as of yet. It sure as hell is not the republicans. liars and thieves the whole lot of em.

Large pots of unsupervised money has a tendency to disappear. I hope whoever manages this fund does a better job of it then they have done with the stimulus money. I'm suspecious by nature and this is like letting the fox guard the hen house. I am sure before it's all over with, there will be reports of fraud, waste and abuse of both money and power.

Not sure if this answers the question for you, but Feinberg is the guy bush appointed to manage the 9/11 compensation money. From all accounts, while some disagree with some of his policies that he put in place, no one has accussed him of engaging in anything unethical

Problem? The only problem I have is figuring out how you found out about our secret plan.

But it doesn't make a difference. Soon enough, our new socialist overlord will be in control of the money, and the votes will be bought. Democrats will be elected and continue making the liberal/socialist/gay agenda a reality.
