The Ds need unlimited SALT deductions to survive long-term but real estate data is consistent with the long run coming up for at least some blue states prior to the 2020 election. The Ds need veto proof majorities in both houses of congress to repeal the SALT deduction cap prior to 2020. That ain't going to happen. With unhappy constituents either blue states will start flipping or moving out of state with insurance settlements from burnt out buildings will be the norm. Since the Ds cannot win how quickly will they die and what will replace them?

It's "Do or Die" for America. If leftists even get their foot in the door, it's bad. If they do, it's the beginning of the end, for real.

The 2018 House elections are critical. Hopefully, the Dems have created a perfect storm (Kavanaugh and immigration) against themselves. Also, the 1994 and 2010 elections are not representative in that the Dems had enacted unpopular legislation (e.g., Obamacare) to which voters reacted negatively. In contrast, the GOP gained additional seats in 2002.

Voter turnout is the key, but it is hard to imagine that very many Trump voters are going to switch over to the Dems in this election.

Nah. Its not a do or die.

If they lose it will should be an eye opener for them.

The last election should’ve been an eye-opener for them.

What’s far more likely unfortunately, is they’re going to double down. They’re going to go even more extreme. They’re going to come up with Wilder conspiracy theories.

And those theories will be used to justify violence. Theories like the government and system is so corrupt this is the only option we’ve got.

The Democratic Party is going through a generational and racial change.
Today's old white Democrat leaders will all be retired in a few more years.
The next generation of Democrat leaders will be more radical and more racist.
The Anglo Democrat Voters will be the minority in the Democratic Party in the near future.

That will only insure that they never get power.

I think a return to "moderation" is no longer possible. Their ranks are now filled with people who would rather split the party apart than compromise their radical ideology.

It was.

but now there is no Electoral College to interfere with the majority vote.

I see that the decline in real estate values in the northeast going on right now and building up steam is being ignored.
That is a biggie. De Santis being the lesser evil by a huge margin in the governor's race here in FL is down right shocking. How have the Ds managed to make R sleazebags look good is beyond me.

Nah, the R's went 50 years with Nixon being their only real elected Presdent and pulled out. (Remember Eisenhower was a war hero of the socialist hwy programs, giving up on North Korea and the military industrial complex talk)
